All I really mean by "shutting it down" is I'm going to stop linking to it on the site. So yeah, you'll still be able to read old posts; I might disable posting, though.

There is so much great, rich history in this beautiful forum which we should preserve so future generations may view it.

What's the point of shutting it down? Keeping it open won't hurt anybody.

Can we still read old posts after it's shut down?
