I have a number of poems memorized, so if Cram ever gives us that assignment, I'm ready.

Which poem did you choose?

this kinda boring one. I couldn't find it on the internet anywhere. also, it had to be at least 21 lines, and you had to have a discussion that went with it.

You should've done "The Cremation of Sam McGee". I love that poem. "The Highwayman" is good, too.

I'm really sorry I didn't ask you now. I think I got a C because I didn't really practice it and made up the discussion as I went, and came out and said that.

wrote these two for school:

The Sun

The sun does set but every day,
And always comes the rest.
I wonder will it cease it’s way,
Last journey to the West.

Taken for granted was the light,
Left in the dark with fear.
Now I wish we did what was right,
It seems so very clear.

Old and withered our hands became,
So much potential had.
Lazy, let it all turn to shame,
Left empty and just sad.

Blind

I see you staring here and there,
Oft wonder what you feel right now,
What you can think and how you fare,
And what the future may allow.

To never to see a sun to set,
Or marvel at the dawn’s stark light.
No bearing the first time we met,
Tho’ my love does burn just as bright.

But you still remain blind to me,
And there is nothing I can do.
So now I bid farewell to thee,
Blind to me but not me to you.
