Faster than a doughnut! Stronger than cardboard!

« on: April 21, 2009, 11:51:40 PM »

I'm starting to get tired of hardware issues. first my computer was suckishly slow, and it turned out I had like 256mb of ram or something like that. then I upgraded to 1gb. after that it turned out I didn't have a cd burner or DVD drive, and purchased one on ebay. I'm starting to get pissed, because now it turns out my usb ports are faulty. WHAT THE FUCK? how am I supposed to put a new card in my laptop? and on top of that, I don't have enough space to duel boot on my 40gb hard drive ubuntu anymore, and since I need it more for various thing right now, I'm forced to use this windows shit. anyway though, my hard drive is almost full, and I've been using a 500gb external drive for my itunes as of late. I looked at internal ones, but with my older laptop its freakin 300$ (230 euros) for an internal 200gb, so I went for the 500gb external for 50$. now I can't use it, because of my faulty usb ports, and have to use my mom's computer for itunes.

my mom doesn't approve of metal I don't think. she said something to my sister about having to give me a talk if I started listening to "creepy" music, and I think that alot of what I listen to could be considered creepy from her point of view.

windows is really starting to piss me off too, and I can't dual boot ubuntu anymore, so that means that I can only use it on my desktop at my dad's (that I got for free, because the hardrive was unplugged inside and it "didn't work") every other weekend.

No Ubuntu? Oh, God! What are you going to do?! And no, I'm not being sarcastic. Really.

firefox, openoffice, 7-zip, vuze, and gimp. I wish they would release a linux version of itunes, as there's no way in hell I'm gonna reformat my ipod for rhythmbox.
